I grew up in Seattle, Washington and am now studying Chemical Engineering. I joined the Ess group because I am interested in working in a field related to kinetics. I enjoy volunteering in the community and playing the piano.
I am currently working on two collaborations: One with a researcher from Rice University and another with petrochemical companies. With the researcher from Rice University, we are computationally investigating a surprising enolate - imine reaction. With petrochemical companies, we are building models to predict better catalysts.
